Discover Science Christchurch is led by a group of Christchurch residents formed in an unincorporated association. We are passionate about inspiring and developing curiosity in Science, Engineering and Technology. Our mission is to create a centre on the High Street to bring residents and visitors together to inspire and develop curiosity in science and engineering.
Why does DISCOVER SCIENCE CHRISTCHURCH process data?
DISCOVER SCIENCE CHRISTCHURCH facilitates the creation and sharing of knowledge, skills, ideas around science inspiration in Christchurch, Dorset. We can be a central point of advice, support and training. As we develop the business plan we will engage in awareness raising, engagement and fund raising activities.

What information do we hold about you?
Personal data is any data that identifies you as an individual. If you have been in touch with us before, perhaps through involvement at an event, taking part in a project, through general enquiries about an ongoing relationship with DISCOVER SCIENCE CHRISTCHURCH, we hold the personal data you have provided us on our GDPR compliant services that may include Eventbrite, Freeagent, Mailchimp and SurveyMonkey or other tools as well as within our secure Microsoft / Google services.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
